DRM has developed an innovative compensation approach for our dispute resolution service that ensures that most fees are paid only upon successful resolution. Our typical engagement includes a fixed monthly retainer, contingent success fees, and out-of-pocket expenses.
The modest fixed monthly retainer helps cover some of the costs of our service. The contingent success fee is usually a fixed percentage of the gross amount recovered. The fixed percentage is determined up front based upon the complexity of the dispute resolution effort and the value the client will receive through our efforts. Clients also pay out-of-pocket expenses incurred by DRM throughout the engagement.
We believe that this fee structure provides a system of incentives that are optimal for our clients because the majority of money paid for DRM's service is paid after DRM successfully recovers settlement money. Our clients and DRM both benefit from a quick, successful dispute resolution effort.
